Beeswax, damar resin, pigments and shellac on cradled wood panel
This piece was painted while listening to a piece of music called "Agua Azul" by Grupo Elias Duran. When I hear the sounds that are created with flamenco guitar, I am immediately transported to Spain. I feel as if I am back at a hotel in Barcelona, with our room balcony overlooking the hotel courtyard, and listening to the sounds of cascading water in the fountain below.
