This lovely painting is named after a song performed by Astrud Gilberto & Walter Wanderley Trio. When I hear any Bossa Nova mixed with jazz, I see an image of summer in the 1960's, bright blue sky with no cloud in site, greenery of swaying palm trees, poolside, women in bathing suits of white, pinks, yellows and robin egg blues. I keep thinking of how hot it is and how much I would love a drink.
