Beeswax, damar resin, dry pigments and shellac on cradled wood panel
This piece was named after a piece of music composed by a visual artist and composer Jordi Fornies. My breathing slows down when I listen to classical music. The piano in this piece makes me stop and close my eyes... Fuzzy and ethereal moth focused on the moon while in flight. The moth uses the moon to orient herself during night flight. The variations of blues in this piece are like "blue moon" glow, which in of itself is just an optical illusion, caused by ice crystals' reflection in the upper atmosphere. Swooping lines are the moth's flight path as it's keeping its sights on the moon.
