This beauty was named after a song that was performed by Astrud Gilberto. "I feel your tears as they fall on my cheek. They are warm like the gentle rain. Come little one you have me in the world and our love will be sweet, very sweet". When I was creating the gentle lace-like texture, I was imagining little tiny bubbles that form on a surface where rain lands. The warm greens and blues in the painting are reminiscent of that warm, gentle summer rain.
