This piece was named after a beautiful song about heartbreak by Damien Jurado. "It is not easy, when you get burned, and go on burning light", what a gorgeous way of phrasing how hard it is to be hopeful and have faith after you have been hurt. This painting gives an illusion of falling out of the sky without any parachute, and how fast you plummet, everything swooshes and you can only see its trails. You quickly notice a cloud and for some illogical reason you think it will cushion your fall and everything  will be ok.
