Damien Jurado is one of the greatest storytellers through music. This painting was named after one of his songs called "Working Titles". He draws you in with a detailed snippet of this sad, bitter, heartbreaking experience and within seconds you realize how relatable his stories are. The vibrant yellows and greens in the painting are like the evergreens of Seattle, WA shrouded in dense fog. Diverging lines in this piece are of knowing someone in your life who is destructive, but your love for them is stronger than your love for yourself. When you are faced with moments of "enough is enough", they do something that makes you feel as if you are back on track and everything will be great again. It is a vicious cycle.
