Beeswax, damar resin, pigments and shellac on cradled wood panel
This painting was named and inspired by the song "Puddles" by Daniela Andrade. Her voice and the music together create this sense of euphoria. This song is about reminiscing of an exciting and sensual time and the little banalities that make those memories so vivid. When you look at the painting closely, you will see that is is made up of tiny puddles and when you zoom out it becomes a tide pool that pulls you right back in. And as you run your fingers over the painting, you will feel little bubbles as if the whole painting is about to start gurgling.
