"Sabali"is a Bambara word that means patience. Bambara is a national language spoken by people of Republic of Mali, a country landlocked in West Africa. One of the phrases of this song means "If you love someone, patience is worth everything ...patience is good". I used to just accept that I was not a patient person. Now, as I am getting older, I am realizing how important it is to have patience with ourselves first. Once we start to practice more patience with ourselves and within our lives, we will become more compassionate and kinder with one another. As I practice patience within my creativity, I, in turn, enjoy and trust the process of it a whole lot more.
