Beeswax, damar resin, dry pigments and shellac on cradled wood panel
Inspired and named after Vivaldi's Summer III Presto. This piece of music is a third part to Vivaldi's depiction of a summer. When I listen to it, it is as if I am resting on a forest floor, hiding from a summer heat. My gaze takes me through the tree tops to the sky. My eyes are half closed and sleepy, the sun beams seem to dance through the foliage as it trembles in the wind. I can smell a storm coming.
